Peke A Tzu Rescue is a Non-Profit Shih Tzu and Pekingese Rescue exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are also active in Maltese, Poodle, Yorkie, Havanese, Chinese Crested, Brussels Griffon and Mixed Small Breed Rescue. The rescue is comprised of volunteers donating their time and love.

We rescue dogs from local animal shelters, animal control facilities and private owners. All are fostered in our homes until they find their Forever Home. We have a very thorough application process to insure that our dogs are placed in an environment where they will be loved for the remainder of their lives.

Many times vetting costs exceed our Adoption Donations so we are teaming up with The Uncommon Garden in an effort to raise money to help our babies in need.

We are offering Gourmet Candles available in 12 delectable scents and in two different sizes of candle tins. These scents are perfect for the spring and it is always great to have some extra on hand when you need a little gift to give! Our 6oz candle is only $8, and our 18oz candles are only $16. Each candle is hand poured fresh and will fill your home with the strongest aroma from the first lighting to the last! We are also offering 10 different styles of personalized note cards. You will receive a package of 10 note cards with envelopes for only $12. The card size is 5.5" x 4.25". Each card is made from folded over heavy card stock with a raised edge panel for a rich look. Below are the candles scents and the note card styles that we are offering.

Here are descriptions of the gourmet scents we are offering:

Almond- Smells like pure almond extract used for baking cookies.
Baby Powder-Reminiscent of Johnson's Baby powder scent.
Butt Naked-Suntan with tropical fruits.
Coconut Cream Pie- Just like your grandmother used to make!
Fresh Fruit Slices-Fruit salad of orange, strawberry, apple and grapes; sprinkled with shaved coconut.
Grandma's Kitchen- The aroma of rich, creamy vanilla with a touch of fresh ground cinnamon.
Hot Danish-This fantastic bakery scent goes the extra mile to provide you with a true fresh-baked aroma, with notes of fresh baked danish, orange zests, and the aroma of drizzled cream frosting. Yummy!
Monkey Farts-Fresh bananas and juicy grapefruit, bits of kiwi, juicy bubblegum, and strawberries with a hint of vanilla (what were you thinking it smelled like?).
Palm Island-This upscale fragrance begins with a rejuvenating medley of sweet orange blossoms, yuzu, and kumquat; followed by middle notes of juniper, Mediterranean fan palm, and rosemary; and base notes of fresh sandalwood and Tahitian vanilla beans.
Tantalizing Yuzu-This wonderful scent begins with top notes of mandarin, tangerine, lemon satsuma, and ruby red grapefruit, middle notes of bergamot, and base notes of oakmoss.
Twigs & Berries-A fruity floral combination of strawberries, oranges, and apples with a touch of oakmoss.
White Hot Cinnamon-Great strong cinnamon scent!
