The mission of
PALS with Pawz is to train rescued and donated dogs to assist people with
disabilities. Our goal is to Create a Loving Relationship Between the
Rescued or Donated Dog and their Disabled Partner; resulting in the
enhancement of their physical and emotional freedoms, sense of security,
independence and the enrichment of their quality of life.
PALS with Pawz has two additional programs. The READING Pawz Program
improves children’s reading and communication skills by employing a
powerful method: Reading to a Dog. But not just any Dog. READING Pawz dogs
are therapy animals who along with their handler’s volunteer as a team,
going to schools, libraries and many other settings as Reading Companions
for children. Classroom Pawz, takes the Service and/or Therapy Dogs into
the elementary and middle schools, educating students on subjects such as:
How to approach a strange dog, Importance of Service Dogs in our society,
Dog Safety, etc.
100% of all proceeds will go towards assisting people like Bob
Busch a disabled veteran obtain his Service Dog. Bob B. is a 100% disabled
veteran, on oxygen, and is going to be living alone as of January. Right
now, Bob does not venture out much, which from personal experience, makes
a person feel isolated and depressed. Mostly because of fear of making a
spectacle of yourself. With the assistance of a Service Dog, people pay
more attention to you, are more careful, and you have a feeling of
security knowing that your dog is there to assist you. I am already
training a dog for him, but because of an unscrupulous "trainer" (and I
use that loosely) he was taken for his life savings. As most of you know,
I train Service Dogs and help those that need it raise the funds. BOB

To help raise money we have teamed up with The Uncommon Garden and we are offering Gourmet Candles available in 10 delectable scents and in two different sizes of candle tins. These scents are perfect for the winter and the holidays! Our 6oz candle is only $8, and our 18oz candles are only $18. Each candle is hand poured fresh and will fill your home with the strongest aroma from the first lighting to the last! We are also offering 10 different styles of personalized note cards. You will receive a package of 10 note cards with envelopes for only $12. The card size is 5.5" x 4.25". Each card is made from folded over heavy card stock with a raised edge panel for a rich look. Below are the candles scents and the note card styles that we are offering.

truly fantastic blend of pine and fir with bayberries,
cranberries, and apples, and spicy nuances of nutmeg and
cloves.
Fresh Linen-A fresh clean scent, very close to Downy fabric
softener.
Gingerbread-A nice spiced cookie, a freshly baked character
with hints of vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger.
Gingerwood-An exotic fragrance of citrus with nuances of
freshly ground ginger combined with notes of sandalwood,
Monkey Farts-Fresh bananas and juicy grapefruit, bits of kiwi,
juicy bubblegum, and strawberries with a hint of vanilla
(what were
you thinking it smelled like?).
Pumpkin Spice-The
smell of a warm baked pumpkin pie blended with cinnamon & nutmeg.
Sugar Cookies-A
warm butter cookie, with a background of vanilla.
Tinsel-A
refreshing Christmas fragrance that blends pomegranate, strawberries,
raspberries, with a subtle hint of fresh peppermint leaves and fresh
vanilla.
